Ramie recieved her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Montana.  Following her passion for the study of life, Ramie took courses that would set the foundation for a career in medicine.  She was greatly influenced by her study of ecosystems and the interconnectedness of studying a system in its entirety.  This desire to work with and understand the relationships and interdepence of all things in nature lead her to study the ancient healing system of Chinese Medicine.  This system offered a recognition of this interconnectedness that observing and exploring the natural world so readily teaches us.  Ramie is interested in treating the whole person and recognizing the unique expression of every individual's health and life story.  With a background in massage therapy, she has a very hands on approach with her treatment style.  Ramie has also spent years exploring consciouness from a variety of approaches and tool sets.  Working with the internal world reflects out into our external world opening us up to new possibilities, more health, ease and space to be who we are and where we are.  While each treatment is customized for the particular needs of the patient, one could expect to receive acupuncture, dietary counseling, herbal medicine, bodywork, and lifestyle suggestions to help navigate the process.  Ramie views this as a joint effort between the patient and the practitioner, so empowering, teaching and engaging you in the unfolding is an essential aspect of every healing journey.
